Beginners
BEGINNERS
Regardless of your age or musical experience, you can become a pretty good guitar player if you can find a good instructor and dedicate a little time for practice. Having a good teacher can save a beginner hours of frustration from trying to learn from books, instruction videos, or less-experienced instructors. With Paluzzi Guitar, if you can dedicate just twenty minutes a day, four days per week, then you will get obvious results in just five lessons. The key to progress is the quality of practice time - not the quantity - and having a professional who can design an individual practice schedule based on what you want to learn will help you reach whatever goals you may have as a guitarist. Advanced
ADVANCED PLAYERS
When guitarists with intermediate experience inquire about lessons, they usually have one of two objectives: either to focus on a specific ascpect of music theory or technique, or, a certain plateau has been reached and the guitarist isn't sure exactly what their next challenge should be. To properly interview an advanced player, it usually takes about thirty minutes to determine exactly what they know and wish to accomplish and then to layout a gameplan for five or ten lessons. The advantage with the free consultation is that the interview process costs nothing. By the time of the first 'official' lesson, a lesson plan is already developed and the learning process starts immediately. To schedule an appointment, call Kevin Paluzzi _ 858-625-0442
Adults
ADULTS
Most adult beginners may not have a lot of time to dedicate to practice, but would still like to learn guitar. I understand that with other responsibilities such as work and family that guitar practice may be looked upon as more of a fun hobby than as a serious study. I can gauge after a few lessons what the right practice schedule is for the individual. I would never want to overwhelm a student with a heavy practice schedule, while at the same time I would not want a more-dedicated student to feel as if they are not getting enough of a challenge. Some students have specific goals, while others would rather just follow a more general gameplan to help them become a more self-sufficient at learning guitar. Whatever your goals may be, I can arrange a gameplan that works for you. To schedule an appointment, call Kevin Paluzzi _ 858-625-0442
Teens
TEENS
The biggest concern most teens have about choosing a guitar instructor is whether or not the teacher is willing to learn how to play songs that he or she would like to play. With Paluzzi Guitar, the answer is yes. I know from experience that once a teenage student knows that a teacher is willing and capable of taking requests, that the student in turn will be willing to learn more about music theory and different styles of playing. After a couple of months, a typical lesson can consist of learning how to fingerpick Beethoven's 'Ode to Joy', a Flamenco improvisation, and then playing the latest Green Day song. A lot of music teenagers listen to these days isn't that complicated to learn, so once a teenage student can master what they want to play, they tend to develop an interest in learning more about music theory and other styles of music. Kids 9-12
KIDS 9-12
I know from experience that students from ages 9-12 can learn at an extraordinary pace when they are motivated. Especially for youngsters, motivation comes when lessons are fun, so the initial goal early on is to simply learn a few songs to play. When a youngster can experience early on the thrill of playing a song for friends and family, they will be more likely become motivated to practice and learn more.To schedule an appointment, call Kevin Paluzzi _ 858-625-0442

FREE CONSULTATION
Many times a motivated student will make a long-term commitment to learning the guitar, so it makes sense to be able to 'shop and compare' before choosing an instructor. I know there are many instructors out there to choose from, and you really can't tell from an advertisement if a particular instructor is right for you and your individual goals. For over 16 years, I have always offered a free consultation to every potential student. There is no better way to compare instructors then to actually sit down and see in person what each instructor has to offer. I know if someone truly wants to learn guitar, they are going to be motivated after the free consultation. That is why the free consultation works for me, while at the same time it provides the student the best opportunity to shop and compare. To schedule an appointment, call Kevin Paluzzi _ 858-625-0442
Rates
RATES
Rates will vary, depending on the lesson package (five or ten-lessons) and whether lessons are in-home or in-studio. The driving distance required for in-home lessons also determines the rate. Additional discounts are offered for group lessons, military, students, and longer-term commitments paid in advance. With so many factors involved, I can usually give an exact quote over the phone. My rates are competitive, so ‘shop and compare’ by taking a free consultation and comparing rates before making a commitment. To schedule an appointment, call Kevin Paluzzi _ 858-625-0442
Group Discounts
GROUP DISCOUNTS
Many times learning and practicing guitar with friends or family can be enjoyable and beneficial experience. A group discount can be applied in two ways: with either the traditional group lesson where two or more students simultaneously take a lesson, or when two or more students take individual lessons in succession on the same visit. The traditional group lesson works best when everyone is at the same playing level with similar learning skills. Grouped individual lessons work best for students with different playing skills or learning abilities. Grouped discounts can range from 10 to 35 percent depending on the number of students and the type of group lesson taken. To schedule an appointment, call Kevin Paluzzi _ 858-625-0442

SCHEDULING
Seven Days A Week My current schedule has me teaching seven days a week, so most likely there will be a time slot available to fit your schedule. Fixed or Flexible Scheduling Most students prefer to have one scheduled lesson per week with a regular time slot, however I can also accommodate those with varying work schedules (military, travel sales, etc) with a flexible schedule plan. Scheduling Free Consults I am constantly rearranging my lesson schedule to accommodate about 40 current students per week, so it works best to schedule a free consultation in ‘real-time’ with a phone call usually within 72 hours of an appointment. To schedule an appointment, call Kevin Paluzzi _ 858-625-0442
